We just took delivery of the satellite phone today. It’s a very useful thing to have when you’re on the RAAM course with an emergency and there’s no cell coverage. However, it’s quite bulky.

It looks a bit like the early “brick” cell phones.

I don’t know why that guy is smiling. He’s got to get on his bike in his suit and ride RAAM.

Mike had a front flat on a descent. He says, “That was exciting. I’m happy that I didn’t eat it.”
